Routine diagnostics for the detection of fungal diseases based on methods such as ELISA and immunofluorescence rapid tests.

Around 80% of invasive fungal infections are caused by Aspergillus spp., Candida spp. e Cryptococcus spp. The affected patients have a poor prognosis and a high mortality rate. The timely, targeted treatment of invasive fungal infections is life-saving (see Figure 1) as well as a quick and
reliable diagnosis.
